B.O.L.D 4

Bold Transformations

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.”
—Psalm 46:1–2

As the board of directors settled into their seats, Beauty smoothed the lapel of her red blazer suit and whispered under her breath, “Lord, I rest in You.”

She had learned over time that clothes greatly influenced her confidence, but she also knew they no longer defined it. Previously, she would have chosen a tight-fitting gown, paired with bold heels and a striking wig, hoping to turn heads. But today, her quiet confidence did not come from what the red and white jumpsuit she wore, but from God’s promise to promote her, even though she was the youngest employee in the room.

As she presented her slides, Beauty noticed heads nodding. Her boss scribbled something quickly on his notepad and by the time she finished, the room was silent. Then the chairman broke into a smile.

“Well done, Beauty. That was solid. Confident and very professional.”

Her heart leapt, but she kept her smile steady. “Thank you, sir.”

After the session, the COO walked over. “Nice outfit you’ve got there,” she said warmly. “Sharp and elegant. You carried yourself well.”

Beauty chuckled softly. “Thank you, ma.”

As she walked out of the boardroom, her heels clicking against the tiled floor, she whispered again, “Thank You, Lord. It wasn’t the suit that made the difference. It was Your strength in me.”

She was just about to type a message to Olivia about the success of her interview when a notification popped up on her screen. It was Olivia.

“Guess what? I just got invited to speak at a conference! And not just any conference, it’s the biggest one in the city right now!”

Beauty’s heart swelled with pride as she smiled at her phone. Who would have thought timid little Olivia, the same girl who once struggled to even pray aloud in small groups, would now be receiving invitations like this?

She quickly tapped out a reply.
“Olivia! This is huge. I’m so proud of you!”

Olivia’s response came almost immediately.
“Honestly, Beauty, I can’t believe it. Remember when I started that small WhatsApp channel? I just wanted to encourage young people to find purpose and grow closer to God. I didn’t think it would ever lead me here.”

Beauty grinned at the screen, almost hearing her friend’s voice in every word.

Then came another message.
“I feel like I’m not hiding anymore. I’m not ashamed of the gospel, Beauty. And I’m not afraid to speak the truth, even if it’s unpopular. God’s really given me a voice.”

Beauty typed back, “And the world is listening.”

Meanwhile, Lanre and David stepped out of David’s new apartment, both smiling at how far God had brought them.

“I’m proud of you, David,” Lanre said. “In just six months, your life has turned around.”

David laughed. “That’s what happens when you start listening to God’s instructions. If I hadn’t obeyed the Holy Spirit’s prompting to go for that seminar, I would never have met Dr. Olusola, and he wouldn’t have invited me to the interview that got me this high paying job.

Lanre’s eyes lit up. “I have a testimony too. You know, ever since I became deliberate about what I watch and listen to, that appetite for pornography has been dying. Yesterday, Pastor asked me to counsel a young guy struggling with it, and for the first time, I spoke boldly without feeling unqualified and inferior.”

David grinned and clapped him on the shoulder. “See? God isn’t just working in us, He’s working through us.”

Lanre nodded, lighter than he’d felt in years. “Honestly, it feels good to finally be BOLD for God.”

Dear reader, this is The B.O.L.D Conclusion:

Beauty discovered she was radiant without compromise.
Olivia discovered she was a builder without a pulpit.
Lanre discovered he was free without shame, and

David became prosperous without striving outside God.

And together, their lives sing one message:
Boldness isn’t about being loud. It’s about living free to be who God made you. Free to shine without fear. Free to walk paths where faith, purpose, and excellence collide.

The BOLD crew wasn’t just surviving anymore. They’re trailblazing.
And so can you.

  1. Wining lives greatest challenges lies in the most trivialized spiritual details of obedience, yieldedness and grace-filled discipline.

My prayer is God expounds all these realities in our hearts

    Thank you very much

  2. Glory! Thank God for the 4 lives and their victory. Dear Lord, help me to live boldly for you. As for you—dearest sis, God bless you and more grace in Jesus name, amen.
