Hello beautiful people!
Long time, no blog post. I know, I’m sorry
But I’m back, and today, I want us to play a game…
Close your eyes for a moment and imagine you have just accomplished something big. Maybe you built a thriving business, published a bestselling book, graduated with flying colors, or achieved a lifelong dream…
A news reporter is at your house to interview you, and after switching on her recorder, her first question to you is this:
“What does success look like to you?”
You pause.
What pictures begin to form in your mind? What do you see?
You see, everyone wants to be successful, but very few have defined wat success is to them, and worse still, very few know what success really is.
For many people, success looks like a certain figure in their bank account. For others, success means a large social media following, driving the latest car, owning multiple houses, or becoming influential. Some people say success is impacting people and helping others…
None of these things are wrong, but maybe we’ve been measuring success with the wrong ruler.
If you bought a brand new phone today but you couldn’t make calls, send text messages or browse the web, would you say the manufacturer was successful?
Definitely not, because the phone is not doing anything it was supposed to do.
This mirrors so many people right now. Not only do they not know who made them, they don’t know why and for what they were made.
As a result, their view of success is so skewed that they think chasing the bag is all there is.
When purpose is unknown, success becomes whatever the culture applauds.
In God’s Kingdom, success begins with three questions:
Who made me?
Why did He make me?
What did He make me to do?
Perhaps, its the least popular way of becoming successful, but it’s undoubtedly the most potent because not only does it put food on your table and make you a blessing to others, it gives your life a meaning you wouldn’t have otherwise.
God isn’t asking you to stop chasing big dreams .
He’s not asking you to put a pause on your five-year plan.
He just wants you to reference the drawing board before creating the vision board.
Do you really know who made you and the problem He created you to solve?
Because in God’s Kingdom, success isn’t measured by popularity. It’s measured by obedience to the purpose for which God created you.

“God isn’t asking you to stop chasing big dreams” . This must be true as all of God’s works are spectacular and wonderful. While we reach for great things, we must “make reference to the drawing board”- why am I here?
God bless you for this sis🌹
You’re welcome, sis! Thank you for reading.
